TEMPLE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
The scope of the project includes, but not limited to, demolition of the existing building, laying new foundation, building two storey building with a base area of 1000 sq.ft ( over 3000 sq ft of floor area , a parking lot which accommodates 8 parking stalls including a stall for the disabled, street lighting improvement, driveway crossing with monolithic 1.1 m sidewalk, landscaping and fencing.
The contract beween Myanmar Buddhist Temple and Beckmann Constrcution Ltd. has been signed.
The design and permitting phase The project is expected to be completed by June, 2015.

COMMERCIAL KITCHEN UPGRADE PROJECT
Commercial kitchen development project is to provide the community cooking space for the community events and to accommodate traditional Myanmar Cooking classes. The basement will be developed as a recreational spaces, such dinning, living room and holding group meditation sessions.
The project is expected to complete in mid or late-2015.

SUN-ROOM EXTENSION PROJECT
The will be sun-room extension project in late 2016 or early 2017. This project will offer more space for the children and seniors.

LAND USE RE-DESIGNATION PROJECT ​
This project is to apply for a land use amendment with the City of Calgary to re-designate Myanmar Buddhist Temple site from residential to Direct Control District or to S-CI special purpose- Community Institution District.
The project will start in 2016.
