MYANMAR BUDDHIST TEMPLE

 

We, Myanmar Buddhist Canadians in Alberta pride ourselves in our respect for our religion, our culture, our tradition and our heritage. With the very pride & respect, we have been making Myanmar Buddhist Temple stand tall in Calgary since its inception to its incorporation into a legal entity under Religious Societies Land Act on NOVEMBER 27, 2000. Revenue Canada granted Myanmar Buddhist Temple, Calgary a charitable status on 1st January 2003. 

 

We are building a community that nurtures spiritual and emotional growth; enriches our lives with principles and practices of Theravada Buddhism; looks after one another in times of need and celebration.

 

The temple was founded under the auspices of Chanmyay Sayadaw Ashin Janakabhivamsa.
